The HDMI Active Cable Product line uses RedMere’s patented MagnifEye signal conditioning chip technology to enable a new breed of HDMI cabling products for consumer multimedia, gaming consoles, DV camera and the rapidly emerging market for HDMI in mobile phones. HDMI Active Cable products using RedMere’s chips support the highest performance 10.2Gbps multimedia applications as well as ultra thin miniaturized HDMI cable products required for mobile phones and HD camcorders.
MagnifEye silicon technology is embedded directly within the cable assembly, reducing copper usage by 80% and enabling flexible, light HDMI cable products.
Achieving this certification enables RedMere’s customers to supply 1.3c compliant HDMI Active Cable solutions without the need for external power, making RedMere’s MagnifEye equalizer technology an industry first.
