The PRA2700 is the first active self-powered booster module targeting Ultra Thin Super High Speed DisplayPort 1.2 cable applications, supporting data rates of up to 21.6Gbps. Once incorporated into a DP1.2 cable, compliance is guaranteed, for ultra-thin , flexible cables and ultimately future proofs for beyond 3D-HD applications, such as multiple HD monitors, all from a single source DP connector.

The PRA2700 requires no external power source, at it utilises proprietary energy harvesting techniques, hence making it ideal for energy sensitive portable devices.
