Tony Stelliga, CEO
Prior to joining RedMere, Mr. Stelliga was formerly the Chairman and CEO of Quellan, a leading developer of high performance Analog Semiconductors until it was acquired by Intersil Corporation in 2009. Prior to his roles at Quellan and Intersil, Mr. Stelliga held senior management and strategic positions at Intel Corporation following Intel’s acquisition of Softcom Microsystems in 1999, a high performance semiconductor company he founded and acted as Chairman and CEO. Mr. Stelliga has also held Vice-President and General Manager positions at LSI Logic Corporation and Newbridge Microsystems prior to its spinout as Tundra Semiconductor. Mr. Stelliga has served on the Board of Q-Sound Corporation, a publicly traded company, and holds 20 US Patents.
Ruud van der Linden, VP of Sales
Prior to joining RedMere, Ruud was Senior VP at Asia Pacific for Freecom Inc, Senior VP for Philips Semiconductor where he was responsible for the Display Solutions Business Unit worldwide, located in Taiwan. There he was responsible for the total product value chain for products such as display drivers, decoders, encoders and video processing IC's. Ruud also spent almost 6 years as Senior VP Asia Pacific at Philips Semiconductor, running the complete marketing and sales operation for Philips Semiconductors in Asia (also located in Taiwan). Prior to that he was responsible for World Wide Marketing of Philips Semiconductor Logic IC's, based in Silicon Valley. Ruud started his career at Philips in the Netherlands in 1984 having roles in Sales, Automation, Production and Human Resource management. Following University Ruud worked as a teacher in Physics and Mathematics. He has Bachelor degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Nijmegen, and a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Enschede, both located in the Netherlands.
Dr John Horan, Co-Founder & CTO
John Horan has most recently worked as an IC Architect with the Wireline Communications Division of Ceva Inc., based in Cork, Ireland, where he has contributed architectures and designs for Ceva’s leading edge PLL, Transceiver, PHY and SerDes products, to speeds up to 6Gbps. John also lead Ceva’s renowned PLLXpert product development. Prior to his 9 years at Ceva, John held R&D positions at the National Microelectronic Research Centre, Cork, Ireland; Analog Devices Inc., Limerick, Ireland; and Microsim Corporation (makers of PSPICE), Irvine, CA. Since 1992 he has also taught at the Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland at undergraduate and Post-graduate level. He has authored numerous technical papers and has had 13 US patents issued, with others pending. John has a Bachelor of Engineering, MEngSc and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Ireland at Cork.
Phil Scott, CFO
Prior to joining RedMere in January 2007, Phil worked with Irish public corporation Kingspan Group Plc (LSE: KSP.L) as Group Analyst responsible for strategic planning, divisional review of over thirty manufacturing sites, M&A due diligence, half yearly reporting and Investor Relations. Prior to Kingspan, Phil was Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Ceva Inc (NASDAQ: Ceva), joining prior to it’s IPO in 2000 and responsible for Quarterly reporting, forecasting, M&A due diligence, revenue recognition. Phil trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen qualifying in 1997. He has a Bachelor of Science from Manchester University, 1993.
Mike Callow, COO
Mike joined RedMere (Taiwan Office) in April 2011 and has over 15 years of extensive experience in logistical management working with companies located in China, encompassing New Product Development, Industrialisation and Global Sourcing of Electro / Mechanical Engineering Products for the semiconductor industry. Mike also worked as an industrial consultant for clients such as BAE Systems Unilever, Halma Group, Reckitt Benckiser and TEK (USA). Prior to 2000 Mike held Technical Director positions with Courtaulds PLC and IPT. Mike is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering at Bournemouth University, UK.
Darren Hobbs, CMO
Darren joined RedMere in June 2010 as Product Marketing Director, bringing over 16 years of extensive international experience in the semiconductor consumer market.Prior to joining Redmere, Darren worked with Wolfson Microelectronics as product line manager, re-focusing their Audio HUB portfolio to the cellular segment. Prior to this, he was the global RF product manager for Freescale Semiconductor, responsible for their global cellular transceiver product portfolio. Whilst at Motorola-SPS, Darren project lead numerous international cellular chipset design teams. He commenced his career as an analogue IC designer, spending numerous years with Silicon & Software Systems, as well as Cadence Design Systems. Darren has a Bachelor of Engineering from National University of Ireland at Cork, and an executive MBA from Henley Management College, UK.
